My beautiful wife and i got out on the boat today from 5:30 to 8pm and had some good action on bigger fish. We picked an area that I’ve hooked some real tanks in lately and dissected it thoroughly. Hooked 5 but we broke off 3 in the trees and had a few other run offs that didnt hook up. No bass at all just striper action this evening. 33.5in and 33.75in fish and I’m pretty sure we lost much bigger fish than what we got in the net. Hard to pick which rod to grab when 3 are screaming 😂

Don’t accept any friend requests from this profile or open any links they send you (they keep spamming links to my friends list), please just report it. Saturday was one of those really fun kid trips! We had some really good action right away which is always good when you got youngsters on the boat 😊 The bite was surprisingly good for how poor the water quality is right now.

Still have dates in September and a few scattered days in October. People always ask me when my favorite time of year is to fish on Lanier and October is my favorite time of year so call before the calendar is full 👍 470-248-2961

Took home a win for the Jeff Blair Striper Guides team today in the Captain Macks Benefit Tournament out of a big field of boats on a really difficult day!

This was an extra special win since Captain Mack's is also a sponsor of mine and has always given so much to our local, regional and nationwide striper fishing community! I am trying to think of something more profound to write here but I've been up since 2:30am and I'm about out of Haku's and wisdom right about now lol

Im thankful for my co captain today Paul Coenen for hopping on the boat and lending a hand fighting and landing fish! Awesome work digging that nice one out of the trees on light spinning tackle today!

Unfortunately we didn't focus on taking pics of the fish. It was all business, they went on the board, got measured and documented then went back in without photo ops. Fortunately I was able to grab some screenshots of the fish that won but we didn't get all of the fish caught today because my GoPro on the console died and didn't know it so only got 3 or 4 of the 6 we caught today!

Special thanks to Sherry's Bait & Barbecue for the excellent bait as always and getting me on the road again before 5am! Cant beat that kinda service!

The trip was slow to start the day. Made some adjustments and tried some new things and started owing rods over in short order. Kept enough to feed 10 for a bachelors party cookout and let the rest of the Stripers we caught carry on with their day 😉

Thank you to Ian and the boys for booking with me to host their on the water bachelors party 😎 I had as much than they did if not more 😁

What a roller coaster of a weekend of fishing. Here’s some of the pics from Thursday, Friday and today.

The bite is up and down even on the same trip 😂 We found fish all over today but there was one particular group that we kept returning to and they stayed there all day and each time we went back to the well we got 3 which equaled up to a solid double digit day 👍 Y’all better look out! She’s getting better, and has caught the biggest fish the last 2 times we fished together 😉

Fridays trip was a grind but we caught fish and broke off some really nice fish which would have given us a respectable day for numbers and size but isn’t that how it always goes? We don’t break off the easy ones lol

A beautiful day chasing some fast moving fish! I got to hang with Isaac, Jacob, Doug and Terry today and we had fun right to the very end! They managed a sweet double up mic drop to end the day as well 💪
