Summer is now around the edge and fall is coming soon! Take a look at this wonderful ocean in Okinawa! Why don't we try scuba diving here for our upcoming tour next year?http://www.odnsym.com/spot/maeda.html

Fukushima's Nuclear Power plant shows signs of stabilization! Unfortunately the title of this article focuses on the negative... -_-

Even as workers began to see some success in their battle to cool down reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, Japanese officials said Sunday that they would have to release some radioactive gas into the air.

Due to the current state of Tokyo the Anime Insider Tour will be postponed to April. How we came to this, the effects on future tours, and ways to give back to Japan are in our latest post: http://bit.ly/eoIMTs

Due to Tokyo’s current condition, we will not be able to conduct the Anime Insider Tour as planned, and so at this time the tour will be postponed. See how it effects our future tour line-up, and ways that YOU can give back to the country that has given us the anime, manga, and culture we love.

An interesting explaination on the nuclear power plant crisis. While not to be taken lightly, we ask people to please remain calm and not unnecessarily spread fear!

My not terribly good attempt at a translation from the Japanese original: うんち・おならで例える原発解説~「おなかがいたくなった原発くん」 This tries to explain the situation at the Fukushima Nuclear Reactors in Japan following the 11/3/11 Earthquake/Tsunami in the Tohoku Region and hopefully combat sensationalist/fear-mongerin

Update! We've written a post about the quake and the upcoming tours statuses below. Yes, it's true. Our guide Evan has magical powers, so we're not too worried about him. ^_~

As you might have heard, there was a massive earthquake that hit northern Japan yesterday. Some of you might also know from the last blog post that a group of students and some of our guides were to arrive in Japan yesterday. They are all in safe areas right now, so thank you for your concerns. Read
