There is a serious downside to living at Yellowstone - it's when your brain is writing checks your body can't cash. There is soooooo much that draws us in - even having been here for years, and we aren't satisfied until we see it all. I know, I know, how can we possibly complain 😉

Today was amazing! Thirteen bears, three moose, one coyote, ruddy ducks, white-winged scoters, mountain bluebirds, beautiful scenery, and great people! What more can we ask for?

Wildlife is ramping up - six grizzlies, two black bear, elk, bison, and gorgeous scenery. Love this place!

First day back in the park since mid-March. Oh, how we've missed it! We just missed a bison calving by 20 minutes, saw a grizzly sow and cub by Crystal Creek Rock, osprey are back and on the nest, pronghorn galore, another grizzly sow and cub in Lamar, a coyote at Fisherman's and another at Soda Butte carrying something. We met a fox at Soda Butte Picnic area and one at Silvergate. We saw the sow and cub again in Lamar. The bald eagle nest Is occupied at Jasper bench and a beautiful dark grizzly boar was north of Fisherman's pullout. It was a full and amazing day. Wish you were all here!
