TWO WEEKS WITHOUT DOLLY

It has been two weeks since East Tennessee—and the world—said goodbye to Dolly Parton.

Her absence is still difficult to comprehend, especially here in the Smokies, where reminders of her kindness, faith and extraordinary life seem to be everywhere.

This message on a local Chick-fil-A sign says what so many of us have been feeling:

“Even Heaven is a better place with Dolly in it.”

We miss you, Dolly. Your music may have made you famous, but it was your heart that made you unforgettable. 🦋

Little to much noise in town today. So I came up here to get some peace and quiet and to clean. So nice to be able to get away from the sounds of downtown. Only noise up here are birds chirping and bears 🐻 Visit Gatlinburg

The perfect day for a drive starts at Smoky Mountain Mist Cabins and ends with 318 curves on the Tail of the Dragon. Who's ready for an adventure? Had a guest going to take it in so I had to go check his car out. Great Smoky Mountains National Park
