Is it worth your ⏳and 💰????
Do you want to sit on the phone for 5+ hours with your cruise company to straighten out a problem THEY created?!?! I didn’t think so…
My clients booked a weeklong cruise 🛳️ for Summer 2026. Special family celebrations happening, a great itinerary, everything was set. Until the cruise company changed their ship - rooms were reapportioned according to similar room categories. When all was done, there were some big problems -
➡️ Family of 5 with small kids originally booked in connecting rooms - now booked on opposite sides of the ship, nowhere near each other!
➡️ Special 2BR Suite downgraded to a 1BR suite!
➡️ Original Sunset Balcony on the corner of the ship, now in the middle.
Do YOU want to handle this mess??? Absolutely not.
Did you know, when you use a travel agent to book your trip, you’ll pay the same price as you would to book it on your own!! 😳
So you can book your trip on your own - have something like this happen and YOU can spend your 🕐 on the 📞 trying to handle it.

You can book with a travel agent like me, for no extra cost, and when something likes this happens I will spend the time on the phone fixing the problems, and using the leverage of my nationwide agency to get the best solutions possible.
Now, after spending 5+ hours on the phone with support, and utilizing our agency’s specialist with this cruise line, here’s where we ended:
✅ Family of Five rebooked to two connecting suites, and upgraded one category of room.
✅ 2BR suite, rebooked to a 2BR suite (and on the same deck as the rest of the family)
✅ Sunset Balcony moved to the corner Sunset Balcony room
✅ Another room upgraded from a regular balcony to a sunset balcony.
✅ Another room upgraded one category level.
✅ All 6 rooms on the same deck, close to each other.
Best yet?? The cruise company reserves the right when making a ship change to charge you what ever the regular room rate is, even if it costs more!
Every.Single.Room on this reservation should have cost more money, but I was able to get every room re-booked at the same rate as on the previous ship!
