Germantown Beer Farm Hudson Valley Malt and Hop Yard. Unique farm tour of Hop Yard and tour of traditional floor malting in the Malthouse.

We malt locally grown barley, wheat and rye for local brewers and distilleries who are committed to using local ingredients.

1. Pick Up Your Passport
You can grab a Hudson Valley Brewery Trail Passport at any of the nine participating locations. It’s your ticket to explore, sip, and celebrate local craft beer.

2. Visit Every Stop — All 9 of Them!
There are eight Columbia County breweries, plus one extra-special stop: Germantown Beer Farm, home to Hudson Valley Malt.
At Hudson Valley Malt, you can:
~ See traditional floor malting in action
~ Learn how the ingredients for your favorite local beers are made.
Call 845 489 3450 to reserve your spot!

3. Complete the Trail & Earn the Pin
Once you’ve been to all nine spots, hand in your completed passport and get a Hudson Valley Brewery Trail enamel pin — a limited-edition keepsake for supporting local beer and agriculture.
