One year ago today, I got to experience the opportunity of a lifetime- attending the GRAND OPENING of Epic Universe at with .gina! 💫
I still can’t believe I was there. I am so thankful to be a Charming Travel Agent and that I got that opportunity. I will never live down getting to be a tiny part of this piece of theme park history!
That day also changed me for good, and how I view my role as a travel professional in today’s world. This moment was the culmination of years’ worth of creativity, collaboration, and cinematic storytelling, and its purpose is to bring joy to all who enter.
It occured to me that’s my job too. I get to help other people create time for joy, and guide them to discover new experiences so that they can have one of those epiphany-moments for themselves. It seems superflous until it becomes necessary to escape, to find inspiration in something whimsical, to feel like a kid again among the gardens and stars and creatures and characters - even for a short time.
With that said, here’s to many more years of EPIC so we can all return again and again! ✨
