A 9-foot Steinway grand piano on a flatbed trailer, rolling down Floras Creek Rd to an organic farm in Langlois. It isn't a fever dream... it is IN A LANDSCAPE, and it's coming to Valley Flora Farm on Sunday, August 30.

Pianist Hunter Noack performs live. You listen through wireless headphones and wander the farm - creek, fields, meadows - with classical music as your soundtrack. Bring a blanket or a chair, pack a picnic, and settle in wherever feels right.

Valley Flora Farm has been growing food along the Southern Oregon Coast since 1998. A portion of ticket sales benefits Wild Rivers Land Trust.

Tickets at the link (and in bio): https://inalandscape.org/valley-flora-farm-8-30-2026

Two boats passing on the Rogue, somewhere near Agness. Only way in is by water or a very long drive - which is exactly why the ride up is worth it.

Reedsport has some hidden foodie gems. Big Fish for seafood done properly. Highwater Cafe for light lunch. Sugar Shack for the pastries you'll be thinking about the next morning (the donuts especially). And Schooner's Cafe for a hearty meal with a river view out the window. Come hungry.

It’s 10 Days of Tuna! 🐟 Think all canned tuna tastes the same? Think again! While you're exploring the Oregon Coast, keep an eye out for Oregon Albacore in markets, gift shops, seafood stores, and dockside retailers. You might just discover your new favorite. ❀️

Many Oregon fishermen and coastal seafood businesses partner with local microcanneries to preserve their tuna in small batches under their own labels. That means every brand has its own story, while helping keep more of the value in Oregon's coastal communities.

There are more than 50 different Oregon Albacore brands to discover. How many can you find on your next trip to the coast? Pick up a few to compare, and don't forget to bring some home. They make one of the tastiest souvenirs you'll find!

It’s 10 Days of Tuna! 🐟 Every Oregon Albacore tells a story that goes far beyond what's on your plate.

βš“ From Astoria to Brookings, Oregon's albacore fleet lands fish in ports all along the coast, supporting working waterfronts and the communities that depend on them. Every season fuels local jobs at docks, marinas, fuel stations, ice plants, processors, canneries, seafood markets, and restaurants.

🚀 Behind every boat is a team of people making each trip possible, from fishermen and deckhands to mechanics, welders, truck drivers, fish processors, and fishmongers.

πŸ’™ When you choose Oregon caught Albacore, you're supporting family owned fishing businesses, preserving Oregon's maritime heritage, and helping keep coastal communities thriving for generations to come.
