We are looking at the possibility of strong to severe thunderstorms Thursday afternoon. The following information is from the National Weather Service. Please stay tuned for updates and local news outlets as we make our way through tomorrow.

Increasing humidity with building heat on Thursday will support showers and thunderstorms late afternoon and evening. Storms will develop near and ahead of an advancing cold front. Storms will favor damaging winds and large hail, and an isolated tornado or flash flood cannot be ruled out. Continue monitoring the forecast, and consider altering any non-essential planned outdoor activities.

This Friday Gorham NH Fire & EMS will be hosting a free car seat safety check from 2:30 to 4:00.
Please tell everyone you know who has a car seat installed in their vehicle how important proper installation is and to have them stop by to have theirs checked out.

Is your child's car seat safely installed, is it the right size for them, is it facing the proper way? Have all of these questions answered and more and be prepared for all your summer travel plans!

Mark your calendar for this Friday afternoon for a car seat safety safety check event. This will be held at the Gorham Fire Station from 2:30-4:00PM.

Take 30 minutes or less out of your schedule to let us check your car seat and it can be one less thing on your mind as you are out enjoying the wonderful weather we expect this weekend!
