This hike on Root Glacier would have been so much better if we had been prepared…

DON’T forget crampons if you take this trip out to McCarthy, Alaska, and hike out to Root Glacier! It is one of the few glaciers that you can hike on your own without a guide!

This place was abandoned in just a few hours! We find out what happened to this crazy Alaskan ghost town, drive back down 60 miles of dirt road (it only took 3 1/2 hours😳) and we experience an FOS first after 7 years on the road - all in this one BONUS episode!
