2026 has been a rough travel season!! Between weather delays, TSA agent funding, world wide events etc etc Travel has been a mess. Here's a reminder why it's best to use a travel advisor (me!!)
-No fees! I do not charge fees for my professional services. Companies pay me a commission on your booking, there is no charge to you for my services.
-Delayed/Cancelled flights: These become my problem, not yours. I will sit on hold, sometimes for HOURS, trying to get the best flight option for you including refunds if necessary and this saves you from the hassle. I also do my absolute best to avoid these issues by constantly monitoring what issue potentials could arise and keep you informed with options to minimize travel problems.
-Travel Insurance: In this modern era of messy travel, please please please consider adding travel insurance to whatever booking you are doing! Did you book your own travel? That's fine!! Still reach out to me for travel insurance!!! It's relatively inexpensive, and offers coverage for things like delays, cancellations etc. It's better to have the insurance, than not.
-24 hour resource: I am ALWAYS available to my traveling clients!! I had clients literally stuck in Dubai 3 weeks ago with no one to turn too, except me. They called me at 3am, panicked, 'what do we do!?' and it is my job to problem solve this, for you. This wasn't an easy issue to solve, but we got it done and their peace of mind was in tact! Call me, whatever the time, and I am on it!!
-Cheap bookings: Third party bookings have a major disadvantage here (Travelocity, Expedia, Costco, Priceline, etc) because these are sellers of available rooms/flights/cars and not experienced travel advisors. We all earn money the same way, through commissions, and these third party booking platforms will sometimes kick back their commissions in the form of a discount. They do not pay for qualified advisors but instead rely on call-center style assistance. If you are stuck in Dubai because a war broke out next door, you will have no help on the end of a call center line. If you have a double booked flight and it gets cancelled, you have to buy a new flight because of the third party booking status. It's messy, very time consuming and costs more in the end.
I've been doing this profession for over 25 years and I'm happy to provide this service free of additional fees. I do not charge for the time I spend with you researching your ideal vacation options! I do not charge for helping you find a flight, or a rental car. No booking is too small 🤩 I do not charge for assembling a large group, or corporate bookings. Call me, let's get something going :)
