If you did NOT sign up, thats okay! ALL YOUTH are welcome today! (We just like a rough count for food) So come on over to the Minnesota Heartland Preserve at 9am! So many fun activities, prizes, and stations for the youth to enjoy this morning! Food is provided for lunch.

Join Jan Cohen-Cruz at The YES! House for Oral Histories & Bringing Non-fiction Alive, a writing workshop exploring the power of first-person stories and oral histories.

Jan will share her experience writing and editing nine nonfiction books, many based on oral histories, then guide participants in gathering stories from one another. You’ll interview someone, listen to their story, and share what you learned.
