We checked out the Myrtle Beach Strip last night and had to stop by Ripley's for this madness!

🤩 Look at this giant floating marble ball out front.🧠 Quick Fun Fact: The pressurized water underneath creates less friction than a hockey puck on ice. That means you can stop a multi-ton stone dead in its tracks with just your hands! 💪

The strip was absolutely alive. We had a blast! 🥳

Who else has been here and actually managed to spin it backwards? 🙋‍♂️ Let us know! 👇

Stephen "Stevie" Ray Vaughan (1954–1990)
Some musicians don't just play an instrument—they make it speak. Stevie Ray Vaughan was one of those rare artists.

📍Born in Dallas, Texas, Stevie became one of the greatest blues guitarists the world has ever known. With his incredible talent, unmistakable tone, and heartfelt performances, he helped revive the blues for a whole new generation during the 1980s. Songs like Pride and Joy, Texas Flood, Cold Shot, and Crossfire remain timeless classics, and his influence continues to shape generations of guitarists.

Behind the music, however, Stevie fought a difficult battle with alcohol and drug addiction. His life had reached a point where many wondered if he would survive. But in 1986, after collapsing during a European tour, he entered rehabilitation and committed himself to sobriety.

His recovery wasn't just physical—it was deeply spiritual. Stevie spoke about becoming more grateful, more humble, and recognizing God's hand in giving him another chance at life. Those closest to him said his relationship with God became increasingly important after he got sober. He often expressed thankfulness for God's grace and for the opportunity to live each day with a renewed purpose. His faith helped reshape his priorities, reminding him that life was about much more than fame or success.

That transformation was reflected in his music, his attitude, and the way he treated others. Friends and fellow musicians often remarked that he had become a kinder, more peaceful, and more grounded person. His comeback wasn't just about returning to the stage—it was about becoming the man God intended him to be.
Sadly, on August 27, 1990, tragedy struck. Following an all-star concert in Wisconsin, Stevie was killed in a helicopter crash at just 35 years old. His earthly life ended far too soon, but the legacy he left behind continues to inspire millions.

More than three decades later, Stevie Ray Vaughan is remembered not only as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, but also as a man whose life demonstrated that redemption is possible. No matter how far someone has fallen, God's grace can restore, renew, and give new purpose.

As Stevie once said:
"The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you."

His guitar may have gone silent far too soon, but his music, his story of redemption, and the hope he found through faith continue to encourage people around the world. 🎸🙏🏼🎵💖🙌🏼🕊️
