Fun Fact Friday🤩:
Did you know? 💭
Wyoming is one of the few states to have a state dinosaur, the Triceratops! 🦕
In June of 1994 a contest and election were held for Wyoming elementary school students to choose the state dinosaur. In competition to three other options, the Triceratops was then appointed as the state dinosaur of Wyoming. According to a CNN report on June 15, 2013, three triceratops remains were found in Wyoming. In Thermopolis, WY there is a Wyoming Dinosaur Center that is totally worth the visit! There is also a dinosaur exhibit that houses five life-sized dinosaur fossil replicas located in the Western Wyoming Community College (WWCC) building in Rock Springs, WY.
