🚢 DREAMING OF THE BAHAMAS? YOU MIGHT WANT TO LOOK AT A CRUISE, TOO! 🌴

I've been quoting Bahamas vacations lately, and something I'm seeing is that people have different ideas of what their dream trip looks like.

Some want to unpack at a beautiful resort and spend their days by the pool.

Others would rather wake up somewhere new, enjoy the ship, and explore different ports along the way. 🛳️

And if you're in my neck of the woods, you may have options sailing from New Orleans or Galveston, depending on the cruise line and itinerary! It is a little longer cruise so planning is essential.

A Bahamas cruise can be a fun way to experience island destinations, enjoy onboard entertainment, and let someone else handle the driving for a change. 😂

But here's the thing: not every Bahamas cruise visits the same islands, and the itinerary matters! Some sailings visit Nassau, while others may include different Bahamian ports or private destinations.

That's why I always want to look at the actual sailing before saying it's the right fit for you.

🐷 The famous swimming pigs are just ONE of the experiences you can have in the Bahamas! 🇧🇸🌴

Yes, they're real. Yes, they're adorable. And yes, they're on a LOT of people's bucket lists! 😍

But if you're planning a Bahamas vacation, there's so much more to explore.

🐠 Snorkeling in those beautiful turquoise waters — because the underwater views deserve some love, too!

🐬 Dolphin encounters — an option to explore if getting up close to marine life is on your bucket list. Experiences, locations, and age requirements vary, so it's worth checking the details before booking.

🚤 Boat trips and island excursions — a chance to get out on the water and see more of the islands.

🏖️ Beach days and resort adventures — sometimes the perfect vacation really is a gorgeous beach, a pool, and absolutely nowhere you need to be. 🍹

🐷 And, of course, the famous swimming pigs! Just know that the best-known pig excursions are in the Exumas, not Nassau, and its about an hour boat ride so you'll want to plan carefully if you're staying on Paradise Island.

Here's the thing: you don't have to squeeze every possible activity into one trip. The best vacation is the one that fits YOUR travel style.

🚨 Planning a Bahamas vacation with kids? Read this before you fall in love with a resort!🌴

One thing I've been talking through with families lately is the all-inclusive question.

If you're traveling with children and want a traditional all-inclusive in Nassau or Paradise Island, your options are extremely limited. There aren't many all-inclusive resorts in the Bahamas to begin with and most are either adults-only or have an age limit.

And I want you to know that BEFORE you start dreaming about unlimited meals, pool days, and not having to think about the budget. 😉

So what are your options?

🏝️ Atlantis Paradise Island — A big resort experience with plenty of family activities. Just know it's not a traditional all-inclusive, so dining costs need to be part of your planning.

🌊 Baha Mar — Multiple resort options, pools, family activities, and lots to do. Again, you'll want to plan for meals and extras.

🍹 Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau — A fun family-friendly option with pools and a waterpark-style experience. Dining packages may be available for qualifying stays, but it's not a traditional all-inclusive.

The right choice depends on your children's ages, your budget, and what you want your vacation to feel like.

Sometimes the best resort isn't the one with the most included, it's the one that fits YOUR family best. 💛

That's why I ask questions before I start recommending resorts. I want to help you find the right fit, even if that means looking at a different destination!

Traveling with little kids? Looking for an adults-only all-inclusive? Want a resort with tons of activities? Or are you mostly dreaming about a beautiful beach and a frozen drink?
