🚢 BIG CRUISE NEWS: Royal Caribbean Confirms Brand-New Discovery Class Ships! 🌊✨

It’s official — Royal Caribbean has confirmed orders for an all-new Discovery Class of cruise ships, and the first one is set to debut in 2029!

Royal Caribbean Group announced new agreements with French shipbuilder Chantiers de l’Atlantique, officially kicking off construction plans for this next-generation class.

🗣️ Royal Caribbean CEO Jason Liberty shared that the Discovery Class will help “shape the future of vacations,” blending innovative design with purpose-driven experiences that bring guests closer to the world.

According to Royal Caribbean President & CEO Michael Bayley, this will be:

✨ “A completely new class — like nothing you’ve ever seen before.”

He says the Discovery Class will introduce:

Brand-new design concepts

Immersive onboard experiences

Guest-centered layouts

Unexpected moments meant to surprise and delight

🚨 What we DON’T know yet:
Royal Caribbean is keeping details under wraps — including ship size, which has been heavily speculated online.

During today’s earnings call, Bayley made it clear:

“Many of the assumptions floating around on social media about size and capacity are probably inaccurate.”

So for now, we wait 👀
