Okay so I know we have discussed this a few times... but let's REALLY have a "talk" about this.
A few strong reasons:
Better selection. More choices for resorts, room categories, cruise cabins, flight times, and seating before the best options disappear.
More time to pay. Many vacation packages and cruises allow you to secure the trip with a deposit and make payments over time instead of paying everything at once.
Better chance at the experience you actually want. Popular excursions, specialty dining, spa appointments, theme-park reservations, and other extras can fill up.
Group travel is much easier. Families and groups have a better chance of getting rooms or cabins near each other and coordinating flights.
Holiday and school-break travel sells fast. Spring break, summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other peak dates can become limited surprisingly early.
You have time to handle the details. Passports, travel documents, insurance, transfers, excursions, special requests, and planning are much less stressful.
More flexibility if something changes. Depending on the supplier’s terms, booking earlier can give you more time to adjust plans before final-payment or penalty dates.
You may have access to early-booking promotions or added perks. Some cruise lines, resorts, and tour companies release incentives for travelers who plan ahead.
Flights usually offer more schedule choices when booked before inventory gets tight. Waiting can leave you choosing between inconvenient departure times or long connections.
You get to enjoy the anticipation! 😂 Half the fun of a vacation is having something exciting on the calendar.
