Some families want a DIFFERENT kind of vacation. 🙌🏻 And, by some families I mean THIS BEAUTIFUL family right here 💕👇

One where they don’t have to worry about cooking or cleaning up. One where they don’t have to drive to a restaurant, find a table, or wait in long lines. Can I just tell you how much I LOVED working with Christy?! ❤️

We’ve been planning this big celebration trip for months, and she was SO excited! There was a little nervousness, too, because this was a new adventure for her. Every question, every concern, I was just a text away. Same person on the other end of the line every single time.

Originally, she was booked at Sandals Royal Caribbean, but after the hurricane, the resort wasn’t going to be open for her scheduled dates. As soon as I found out, I got on the phone with Sandals to figure out what we could do.

And y’all… we ended up getting her transferred to a BETTER resort with an UPGRADED room! 👏👏👏

Christy wasn’t familiar with either resort, but she trusted me to help make the best decision for her big celebration. I wanted to make sure she wasn’t just getting a comparable experience, but an even BETTER one!

And from the looks of things, I think we nailed it! 🥰

She texted me a couple of times throughout her trip to tell me how much she was enjoying the resort and how much she loved the people there. Those messages make my heart SO happy!

As I started to sit down and write this post, I decided that there is no way I could say it any better than Casey. So, I will let her speak to how special it is to make memories together💕💕💕

“To celebrate 20 years, we had the incredible opportunity to take the trip of a lifetime! 🌴☀️ St. Lucia did NOT disappoint! We are beyond grateful that the Lord blessed us with this opportunity and the precious time to slow down, reconnect, make memories, and simply enjoy one another. These moments are a reminder of just how much there is to be thankful for.

A HUGE thank-you to Rhodes Travel Company for making this dream trip a reality! She listened to every detail, understood what we wanted, and delivered everything we could have imagined and more! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

What’s better than celebrating your birthday with a trip to the Caribbean? 🌴☀️

How about turning it into a whole celebration and bringing your friends along?! 🍹🥂

Janet reached out to me wanting to celebrate her birthday AND anniversary with a special getaway. We decided on Sandals Royal Curaçao, and before you know it, she had talked some friends into joining the fun!

"How much is an Alaska cruise?" 🏔️

My honest answer is always: Which one? Alaska isn't one trip. It's about a hundred different trips, and the price changes with every choice you make.

Before I can give you a quote you can trust, I need to know:

✅ What month can you go? (May vs. August are totally different experiences!)

✅ Is Glacier Bay a must?

✅ Roundtrip from Seattle/Vancouver, or one-way through Anchorage?They are all different experiences 🤔

✅ Cruise only, or add land including Denali and a train ride?

✅ Who's traveling, and how many cabins?

✅ Inside, oceanview, balcony, or suite?

✅ Do you want drinks, WiFi, and gratuities included?

✅ Do you have a passport, and where will you fly from? Do you have airline points?

✅Have you cruised before? Because location on the ship might make a difference and location does impact the price.

✅ What do you want to see more of? Snow capped mountains or wildlife?

✅What kinds of activities do you have in mind? We want to make sure to include the right ports

✅Any particular ports that must be on the itinerary?

✅ Does anyone have mobility issues?

✅ If you are flexible on your dates are there any certain dates that need to be avoided?

And, then let’s don’t forget trip insurance.

If your only goal is the cheapest price, I can find it.

But if you want the Alaska you've been dreaming about, let's build that trip first. 💙

Aren’t they just the cutest 💕 Haley and Austyn have been trusting me with their special trips for a few years now.

First, their honeymoon to Jamaica, then a friends trip to Antigua and now one epic trip through Italy 🇮🇹

Sometimes things don’t always go as planned and we originally had their entire trip booked for August….BUT…

Austyn had a unique opportunity to arise with his company to travel to Finland at about the same time. So, what to do????

I remember them asking me if if would be possible or too much trouble to move the dates so close to time.

And, of course I didn’t want to be the reason that Austyn missed this great opportunity if at all possible.

Now, it’s not easy or even possible to move things when they are packaged together and then you have to consider terms and conditions and cancellation policies.

But, fortunately, it all worked out and we got their entire trip moved. Some sacrifices had to be made and some hotels had to be changed to keep the prices as in line with the original as possible.

But we did it.

And, now enjoy a few pics from their special trip through Italy that was custom built just for them.

🚨 LET’S CLEAR SOMETHING UP ABOUT BOOKING SANDALS & BEACHES! 🚨 (this is long, but please read and initial when you have read it-it will help with engagement)

I just got off the phone with a client who booked her Sandals vacation with me, had a wonderful trip, and rebooked while she was there. She was told by other guests on-site that she shouldn't book with a travel agent because she wouldn't get to keep her points or other benefits. Absolutely NOT TRUE!

Y'all. 🤦‍♀️ Can we please stop spreading misinformation?

In fact 80% of the people who book with me end up booking again on site (BECAUSE I TELL THEM IN ADVANCE IT IS MANY TIMES (not always and we talk about the options) THE BEST DISCOUNT THEY WILL EVER GET) and then transfer it back to me. I even counsel people before they go or while they are there to make sure they are getting the very best options.

Once they book, I help transfer the booking back to me and then I watch for even better options that they can take advantage of and use that discount to help them and service it from start to finish as I always do.

And no, you earn points when you book with me just like you would if you book direct and you can use those points to help on your next booking.

In fact, this client just used the points she'd already accumulated to book her next vacation on-site, and she'll continue accumulating and using her points just like she always has.

Here's what working with me looks like:

💙 I help you find the perfect option and the best value for you based on your preferences and your budget

👉 I make sure all of the promotions and any additional incentives that might help you are applied. Sometimes they can be misleading, so I make sure I know all of the "fine print".

✈️ Once booked I help with flights and travel logistics.

💰 I monitor promotions and sales to see if we can save you money or apply eligible offers to your booking. If I see that your room went on sale and is still available, then I see if repricing it is actually a better deal than any current promos you have.

📋 I help manage your reservation and provide service before, during, and after your vacation. Questions along the way about anything? I am just a text away.

🙋‍♀️ And when you have a question or need help, you have someone who knows you and your booking. Same person responding. Every time. Someone with YOUR best interests at heart.

🙌 If you are one of those who still doesn't think you need me, then just ask those people who I took care of when the hurricane hit Jamaica last year. Or ask that destination wedding group that got the BIGGEST upgrade of my career after we were able to get them moved and married in Turks and Caicos instead of Jamaica as planned.

Then, go ahead and ask them if they had to pay anything extra..... I will wait....

Let me give you another real-life example.

I have a couple from Atlanta who have spent 70 nights at Sandals! They earned their free week this year and enjoyed it at Sandals Saint Vincent. They transferred that reservation to me.

I didn't earn a commission on that free-week booking. Not a dime. But I still took care of them because they're my clients, and that's what I do.

They also rebooked another vacation on-site for next year and transferred that reservation to me, too. They're continuing to earn points, use their points, and enjoy their benefits while working with me.

See a pattern here? 😉

I am not sharing this to bash anyone. I'm sharing it because I want you to have the correct information so you can make the best decision for yourself.

I will ALWAYS encourage my clients to take advantage of the opportunities available to them, including booking on-site when it makes sense. My job isn't to make you book a certain way just so I get credit for the reservation. My job is to help you get the most out of your vacation and be there to help you along the way.

Book on-site. Earn your points. Use your benefits. Then let me help you monitor the sales and take care of the details.

That's what having a travel advisor in your corner looks like! YOU WILL NOT GET THAT SERVICE BY BOOKING DIRECT.

And if you've ever been told you can't have a travel advisor AND keep your Sandals & Beaches benefits, please ask questions before assuming that's true. Specific booking rules and eligibility can vary, and I am always happy to help you understand your options.

Congratulations to these 2 cuties! 💕💕💕

They just returned from their honeymoon at Sandals Royal Curaçao! 💙🇨🇼

Many people have never even heard of Curaçao, so I absolutely LOVE being able to introduce my clients to this amazing island. It’s truly one of my favorite areas of the Caribbean! 💙

When Peyton and Lainie first contacted me, they had never been out of the country before. They knew a few things they wanted for their honeymoon, but weren’t quite sure where to start.

They wanted an all-inclusive, somewhere less traveled, a destination where they felt comfortable exploring off the resort, AND somewhere below the hurricane belt since they were traveling during hurricane season.

I knew Curaçao needed to be on their list! 🙌

They booked a YEAR out (some people actually listen to my advice! 😂🙌), and I loved hearing all about their trip when they returned!

A few of their favorite things? 👇

💙 Exploring beyond the resort! They took a walking tour of Willemstad and got to see those famous, colorful buildings, learn about the island’s history, and pick out souvenirs. This ended up being Lainie’s favorite part of the trip!

💙 A resort with options! They loved having the lively pool with a DJ where they could meet people and have fun, along with the beach area for quieter days. And that beautiful, calm, clear water? Lainie said she loved it more than she could have imagined!

💙 Food for even the picky eaters! 😂 They described themselves as picky eaters, so having plenty of dining options was important. Lainie said they never had a meal they didn’t enjoy and always found something they liked!

And here’s a little extra tip about Sandals Royal Curaçao: there’s a car rental right at the resort! If you want to explore more of the island on your own, you can rent a car and head out for the day. I’ve done it myself, and driving around Curaçao is very doable!

But one of my favorite parts of their feedback had nothing to do with the resort. ❤️

Before their honeymoon, their flight schedule changed, which would have left them spending an extra day in Miami before returning to Nashville. Lainie contacted me, and within minutes, I had their flights fixed!

As she put it, “That’s when I knew we needed you for sure haha!” 😂

They also shared how helpful my step-by-step airport instructions, travel documents, apps, packing tips, excursion recommendations, and even information about their spa credit were throughout the trip.

Because here’s the thing… booking the trip is only part of what I do. Especially when you’re traveling internationally for the first time, knowing what to expect and having someone to help when plans change can make all the difference!

Lainie told me:

“We could have never had this trip without your guidance! Neither of us have ever left the country and had no clue how to navigate planning something like this.”
