Ocean Voyages Institute has removed over 500,000 pounds of plastic from the global ocean during our at-sea cleanups and we are just getting started!
Utilizing sailing cargo vessels to reduce our environmental impact, combined with satellite technology, our GPS Trackers and marine debris modeling we are able to efficiently locate the areas of greatest plastic accumulation and effectively remove them from the ocean. 100% of the plastic we cleanup from the ocean is recycled, repurposed and/or upcycled. Nothing ends up in a landfill or back in the ocean.
