Travel Advisor Expectations ✈️🌴
Working with a travel advisor is about partnership, communication, and trust—and I want to make sure we’re a great fit for each other from the beginning!
✨ A few things I ask from my clients:
💰 Respect the budget.
Tell me your realistic budget and I’ll work within it. I’m happy to explore options, but I can’t create a luxury vacation on a budget that doesn’t support it. My goal is to find the best value for your money, not simply the cheapest option.
🤝 Respect each other’s time.
I take the time to research resorts, compare options, answer questions, coordinate details, and help when things don’t go as planned. In return, I ask for reasonable communication and patience. We’re working together to create your perfect vacation!
💬 Be honest about what you want.
If you don’t like an option, tell me! If your budget changes, tell me! If your priorities change, tell me! The more transparent you are, the better I can serve you.
📅 Understand that I have another career.
Travel advising is my passion and my business, but it is also my second job. I work another full-time job, which means I may not always be able to respond immediately. I am honest about this before we even start planning. I promise I will get back to you as soon as I am able. Please know that delayed communication does not mean your trip isn’t important to me.
