Just got back from my first Norwegian cruise, and I have thoughts! 🚢

The good: incredible live entertainment, a splurge dinner that was 100% worth it, and an exclusive early look at the brand new Great Tides Waterpark before it’s even fully open (barely any lines!).

The not so great: tiny rooms, food that was just okay, and a party vibe that’s a lot on a short sailing.

Time to head back home to my babies.

I am excited to share over the next few days everything I learned while on my first cruise with Norwegian and my time on their private island, Great Stirrup Cay. The good, the bad, and most importantly… would I sail on NCL again?

Being the kid of a travel advisor is rough. Tonight my 4 year old was in full tears begging to go stay at a hotel. Not Disney World, not a cruise ship, just… a hotel. Any hotel. Tonight.

I guess when your mom talks about vacations for a living, even a Tuesday night hotel stay sounds like the trip of a lifetime. 😂🏨

Anyone else’s kids caught the travel bug early?

I've been knee deep in planning a delayed honeymoon/first anniversary trip to Maui and it has me dreaming! (Mr. and Mrs. Z, I can't wait to go over this with you today!) Whale watching, private transfers, pineapple tours, Road to Hana... the list goes on of awesome things they will get to do while there!

If you have been to Maui or Hawaii in general, what is your go-to must do? This has me thinking about our own future Hawaiian vacation!

Because I feel like there is this idea out there that river cruises are just for retired couples in matching windbreakers and I am here to tell you that is simply not true. Although, you bet Anthony and I will be rocking those😄

You sail right through the heart of these incredible cities, step off the ship and explore, then come back to your floating hotel at the end of the day.

No lugging suitcases between hotels. No figuring out transportation. No stress. Just amazing food, stunning scenery, and some of the most beautiful cities in the world right outside your window. 🌍

It is honestly one of the most incredible ways to experience Europe and it is so much more accessible than people think.

Did you know I also love Universal? 🎢

I know, I know. You probably think of me as your Disney girl. And yes, that will always be true. But Universal holds a very special place in my heart too and I am SO excited about the changes over the last year!

Epic Universe is open and I honestly cannot wait to experience it for myself. The new worlds, the new experiences, the sheer scale of it. Everything I have seen and heard about it has me so excited. It is at the top of my must do list and when I get there I will absolutely be sharing everything!

Whether you are a Harry Potter fan, a Nintendo lover, or just someone who loves an incredible theme park experience, there is something there for everyone.

And yes, I can plan that too. 😄

The answer was the Maldives and wow did you guys bring the bucket list inspo in the comments! I loved reading every single one of them. Sweden came up a couple times!

The Maldives is actually on MY bucket list too! A collection of over 1,000 coral islands in the Indian Ocean known for some of the clearest blue water on the planet, incredible marine life, and those iconic overwater bungalows where you can literally watch fish swim beneath your feet. One day I will get there and you better believe I will be sharing every single moment when I do. 🌊
