EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional is one of Disney’s holiday traditions, with a celebrity narrator, live orchestra, and choir bringing the Christmas story to life.

Planning a Disneyland trip?

Your hotel can make a big difference in both cost and convenience.

Some nearby options are surprisingly close:

About a 5-minute walk:
• Tropicana Inn & Suites

About a 7-minute walk:
• Fairfield Anaheim Resort

About a 10-minute walk:
• Element Anaheim Resort Convention Center

Also within walking distance:
• Residence Inn Anaheim Resort/Convention Center
• SunCoast Park Hotel Anaheim Resort

Disney Resort Hotels:
• Grand Californian is the closest and has direct access into Disney California Adventure
• Disneyland Hotel offers more of the full Disney resort experience while still keeping you close to the parks
• Pixar Place Hotel guests can access Disney California Adventure through the entrance inside Grand Californian

One thing many travelers don’t realize: staying off-site at Disneyland does not always mean staying farther away. Some hotels across Harbor Boulevard can be a very short walk to the park entrances and may also offer lower rates, larger rooms, breakfast, or kitchen space.

When comparing hotels, look at the full picture:

• Parking fees
• Breakfast
• Room size
• Kitchen or kitchenette

Disney fans, the 2026 Candlelight Processional narrator lineup is here!

One of EPCOT’s most popular holiday traditions returns during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, running November 27 through December 30, 2026.

The Candlelight Processional features a celebrity narrator telling the traditional Christmas story accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra, the Voices of Liberty and massed choirs.

Packages include a meal at a participating EPCOT restaurant plus a guaranteed seat at one Candlelight Processional performance that same day.

Holiday dates can fill quickly, especially around Christmas, so this is one Disney experience you’ll want to plan ahead for.

Disney Skyliner update for 2028!

The Disney Skyliner will be closed for routine refurbishment from January 24 through February 2, 2028, with service expected to return February 3.

The closure includes every Skyliner route serving:

• EPCOT
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios
• Pop Century Resort
• Art of Animation Resort
• Caribbean Beach Resort
• Riviera Resort

Disney will provide complimentary bus service between the affected resorts and parks.

Since the Skyliner is one of the main reasons many guests choose these resorts, travelers visiting during the closure may want to compare other resort and transportation options before booking.

Disney Cruise Line has announced new itineraries for Fall 2027 through Spring 2028! 🚢

Here are some of the highlights:

✨ The Disney Wish returns to New York in late September 2027 with seven special sailings to Bermuda, New England and Canada.

🌴 More Caribbean cruises will depart from San Juan, Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale.

🌎 The Disney Magic will offer two 14-night Panama Canal cruises with first-time stops in Fuerte Amador and Colón, Panama.

🌊 The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will sail from San Diego to destinations such as Catalina Island, Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlán.

🌏 Select Disney Adventure cruises from Singapore will visit Langkawi, Malaysia—its first port of call.

🎃 Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime Cruises will also return on select Fall 2027 sailings.

Early booking is opening in phases for eligible Castaway Club members and select guests. General booking begins September 8, 2026.
