If it’s your first time visiting Oʻahu, here are a few things we think every traveler should know:
1. The ocean isn’t always calm. Conditions can change quickly, especially on the North Shore, so always check conditions before heading into the water.
2. Don’t try to see everything in one day. Oʻahu has so much to explore. Give yourself time to slow down, enjoy the beaches, try local food, and take in the scenery.
3. Respect the ʻāina and local communities. Keep beaches and public spaces clean, respect wildlife, follow posted signs, and remember that Hawaiʻi is home to real communities—not just a vacation destination.
4. Traveling with a big group? Plan your accommodations early. Finding a place where everyone can stay together can be one of the hardest parts of planning a family trip.
And that’s exactly why we created our Hauʻula Beach House.
With 5 separate units on one property and space for 40+ guests, it’s a great option for family reunions, group trips, and large ʻohana gatherings.
And right now, we’re offering $250/night per unit for eligible stays starting from September 1, 2026.
