50 years ago on October 22, 1976, Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band released their classic album “Night Moves.”

Featuring classics like “Night Moves,” “Mainstreet,” and “Rock and Roll Never Forgets,” it blended American heartland rock and powerful nostalgic storytelling.

The album was well received by critics and brought Bob Seger nationwide success. Three singles were released from the album; two of them reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The album became Seger's second to receive a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and his first to receive a Platinum certification from the same organization. It was later certified 6× Platinum.

It is his first studio album to credit his backing band, the Silver Bullet Band, although they only perform on five of the nine songs on the album; the other four features backing by the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section.

Happy 50th anniversary to this amazing album! Do you have a favorite song from it? Let me know when the comments!

Rest in Peace to a 80s country music legend!

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and best friend.

To the world, he was a gifted country music singer whose voice and songs touched countless lives. To us, he was so much more. He was the heart of our family, the one who made us laugh, loved us fiercely, and made every ordinary moment feel special.

We are completely heartbroken.

His music will live on, but for us, his greatest legacy will always be the love he gave his family and the memories we will carry with us forever.

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this unimaginable loss.

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Kat & Mat! 💒

A beautiful ceremony followed by a fun night of dancing and karaoke. The Venue at Tryphena's Garden is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever played.
