The extremely low/clear water of this season has definitely presented some challenges as far as getting the boat into some of my favorite spots. But it has resulted in learning lots of new areas and seeing lots of fish cruising around that would otherwise be tough to see under normal conditions.

Time for a fish fry! (Yes all smallies go back in the water). The same can not be said for eater sized walleye&pike. Had a great couple trips in June with the Klotsche crew!

Wednesday fishing tip for those out there night fishing! Glow tape isn’t a new trick and i certainly wasn’t the first person to use it but I often have people bring up that they’ve never seen it when they’re out with me. Also who ever left their rain gear in my boat, give me a shout and I’ll get it back to you.

You can’t control the weather, but you can control how hard you fish. 🌧️☀️💨
The weather conditions have been all over the place lately, but 3-year regular Brad and son Hoyt stuck with it and put this nice walleye in the net. Big thanks to Brad & Hoyt for always bringing good energy to the boat, no matter what Mother Nature throws at us!

Big fish Jim is well known to be a wizard with the flyrod in hand. He taught me a few new tricks and I got to show him a new section of river and a few walleyes on the lake.
