There’s a lot of new faces around here, so I thought it was time to re-introduce myself. 👋🏻

Hi, I’m Ashton! I’m a travel advisor, former Walt Disney World Cast Member, Disney adult, iced coffee enthusiast, and professional vacation over-planner.

While Disney will always have my heart, I book so much more than Disney. Cruises, Universal, all-inclusive resorts, Europe, international adventures, beach getaways, romantic trips, and more - I love helping my clients find the trip that’s right for them.

The best part - I genuinely love helping people make memories. Getting to be a small part of someone’s dream vacation is something I’ll never take for granted.

September 11, 2001 - I was 9 years old and in my 3rd-grade classroom.

A day that changed our country forever.

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger when others were running away.

As part of a first responder family, this day carries an especially personal weight for me. My dad spent his career as a firefighter, so I've always had a deep respect for the men and women who put on a uniform and answer the call, never knowing what they may face or if they will make it home.

I also think about something else when I think about September 11th: how united we were.

For those first few hours, none of the things that normally divided us seemed to matter. We looked out for strangers. We helped each other. We hugged our people a little tighter. We stood together as Americans. Maybe that's something worth remembering today, too.

Be kind. Check on your people. Help someone when you can. Give a little grace. We never know what someone else might be carrying.

Today, I'm thinking of every firefighter, police officer, EMT, military member, emergency dispatcher, and first responder who gave everything that day, and of the families who never got to bring their loved ones home.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget
