I don’t even know how to describe the last four days.

I have the privilege of hosting TWELVE other amazing women on this journey to Ecuador. Today we leave Quito and while this is only a fraction of what we’ve seen and done (so many IG and blog posts to come) but there are some common things happening already:

JOY - the amount of laughter happening is unreal. We have a quote list going of the funny/crazy things everyone has said so far and everyone has been so accepting and amped for each experience we’ve had so far - and we’ve had a lot.

SUPPORT - the way these women are CONSTANTLY stepping up for each other is a thing to behold. Emotional and physical support, supplying each other with things we’ve all forgotten, picking up coffee or ubers for each other. Just genuinely sharing the abundance we have - whether it’s a physical item or encouragement. It’s beautiful.

EMBRACING ADVENTURE - we have already had things we’ve moved around, added and trimmed down in our itinerary. But whatever we’re doing, everyone is jumping in 100%

Genuinely, it’s such an honor to be able to host this trip. I already cannot wait for all the adventures to come through TrovaTrip - Group Trips for Communities

Our next Women’s Hiking Club is Wednesday 9/23 at Busiek State Forest at 5:45pm. We’ll be doing the purple trail, but it could still be hot and a bit buggy so bring your water and your insect repellent.

After the hike, we’re going back to 4 By 4 Brewing - Fremont Hills where Down South Fried Fish Co. will have food available or you can pick something up on your way back!

I’ll hand out a drink ticket for $2 off any drink (n/a, w**e, b**r, cocktail, slushy, etc.) and I really encourage you to come hang out and connect with our community!

33 women came out - even in this crazy heat - to hike today! I love the laughs, stories, companionship and support that these women bring into my life! What a gift to get to bring women together to experience the outdoors together.

Hopefully, the temps start to drop and we can have less sweaty hikes starting with our next one later this month at Busiek!

We hiked to Bierstadt Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado for the first time this summer. For me, the hike up was prettier than the lake itself but I did enjoy this trail! I love having mountain adventures with this sweet family of mine.
