This is a photo of Thomas Dunn, a telegraph operator at the railroad depot in Hinckley, MN. During the fire, stayed at his post sending warning messages and coordinating trains that could help evacuate people. He stayed even when the fire was getting super close! His last message sent was: " I think I've stayed too long."
