Announcement!! I'm retiring!! ( AGAIN!)

Lakewood Getaways will be under new management as of June 1, 2025.
The name will officially change to "Claytor Lake Getaways, LLC" owned and managed by Michelle Porterfield.

Michelle has been our housekeeping manager for several years. You can expect the same high-quality Claytor Lake properties and customer care that our guests and owners have come to expect over the last 18 years.

Shout out to Corner Deli in Pulaski! A last minute order of a variety of 44 sandwiches for flood victims and workers was filled during the lunch rush hour.
They were efficient, helpful and the chicken salad was the bomb!

Looking for a way to donate to the cleanup crews at Claytor Lake? Drop by snack foods, water, and other drinks to either the Pulaski Library or Dublin Library and we will get these supplies to Emergency Management of Pulaski County.

The hurricane flood waters have left destruction and heart ache in its wake here on beautiful Claytor Lake. We were blessed not to have the extent of the damage as in some places. However, neighboring communities along the river and lake are hurting. There is much debris in the lake all the way from NC! Our rentals were not effected as they are all higher up. If you have a reservation with us in October, you have nothing to worry about. Restaurants and groceries are open and fuel is readily available.
At this time, fishing and other use of the lake is prohibited due to unknown levels of toxicity. Contact your rental platform if you wish to change your reservation.
