Who’s Billy ? Billy Merritt has been performing and teaching at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre since its inception. He Co-founded legendary Improv groups The Swarm and The Stepfathers in New York, and The Smokes in Los Angeles. He developed multiple improvised Longfoms such as The Documentary, One Act Play, and the Road Trip.
Billy got his TV start on UCB’s Comedy Central show, which led to multiple appearances on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, MTV’s Boiling Points, VH1’s Best Week Ever. Since moving to LA he’s appeared on great shows such as Reno 911, Happy Endings, Weeds, Parks and Rec and Brooklyn Nine Nine to name a few. Billy’s voice is heard on many commercials and cartoons, he’s the voice of Fryman from Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe,and host of Jameson’s Radio Network. Billyis a native Floridian and proudly maintains a Florida Man lifestyle.

Friends, here is the information for this Friday night’s fundraising event at Bob Carter’s Actors Rep. As many of you know, my heart and energy is on this sweet theater.  We are growing and my plan is to continue building upon opportunities for all children in our community who are wishing to develop reading comprehension, improvisation, the skill of acting and creativity, as well as improving opportunities for adult actors who are looking to build a portfolio and land jobs in the film and acting industry.
