Five Points Mailbox Keys
Good Morning Five Points Homeowners,

I apologize for the inconvenience of this, but after speaking with the post office this morning, we are going to be canceling the key handout at the clubhouse today.

The Post Master is out of office this week and the supervisor on site could not sign off on our breakdown of the slot assignments. I will reach out to all homeowners as soon as we have confirmation to reschedule.

Good Morning Five Points Homeowners,

Below is a quick update on Mailboxes for the community:

We are working with the post office to make sure we have the box assignments set up properly before handing out keys. All information was provided to them, and management will be going by the post office early this week to finalize those assignments. Our current plan is to be on site Friday morning to hand out keys. If you currently have a house built or are in the process of building, we can meet you at the home or clubhouse to drop them off or leave them somewhere for you. We are also happy to mail keys to any forwarding address provided.

If you are not in the process of building, we are happy to hold your keys until that changes. We can always send them to you, but it can be a difficult process to change those locks if you lose your keys. With that being said, they do belong to you, and we can plan a time to meet on site or mail them to a provided forwading address as well.

Management will plan on being at the clubhouse Friday Morning from 10:30am-11:30am with keys. Please feel free to call or email us direclty if we need to set something else up.

Response from Bender....

Apologies for the delay. We have been trying to coordinate with the post office, but they haven't made it easy. The boxes are installed and we have all the keys.

Everything has been sent to the post office for review, and they are supposed to provide us with the slot assignments. I am not sure whether that will be lined up by lot number or if they will do it by street number. As soon as I have those slot assignments, I will deliver the keys.

I left two voicemails for the post office yesterday but the expectation is to be handing those keys out the week of the 23rd.

An email will go out to all homeowners once we are ready to deliver those, but please let me know if you would like us to deliver those to you on site or mail them to an alternate mailing address.

I don't post alot because they have been slow with progress on 5 points. I would ask that you email Bender management and ask them to talk with the developer about putting in some outdoor cooking at the club house. Currently, there is no way to heat any food and the other communities have full outdoor kitchens.

Also, if you don't make it out to your property much and ever need pictures, please let me know ow your lot and I would be happy to take some for you.

Lastly, if we would like to plan a meet and greet for early summer, let's get some available dates together.

Dear Five Points Property Owners, It has been brought to our attention that several people have been reaching out asking for updates or maintenance items. Please see below for those and some additional notes from management: First and foremost, management and the developer do not monitor the community discussions page. That is solely for homeowner use to communicate with neighbors. If you have any questions or maintenance requests we ask that you post those through your resident portal 'Requests' tab. Somebody from our office will respond there. If you have not set up access to your resident portal or do not know how, please email us at [email protected]. Below are updates that we have received from Lakewood: Road completion: All road sinside the subdivision have been complete. The county road outside the community will not be paved until March.
Street Signs: Lakewood is ordering those and they are expected to be installed early 2026.
Grills: There are no plans in place to put grills at the property. If this is something that is important to homeowners, I am happy to speak with the developer about it. Gate Repair: We are sending a contractor out to assess. Please submit requests through your portal if you notice gates not working at any time. Additionally, be on the lookout for updated codes for the cell gate system. All homeowners will recieve an email with their individual gate codes by next week. Boat Slips: The boat slips at the harbor are complete. The second set at the clubhouse are expected to be delivered any day now. Lakewood is reaching out to the builder today to get an update. Board Elections: Board elections will happen at our transition meeting after development is complete. The expectation is that will take place March or April of 2026. Please be thinking about whether you are interested in running for a board seat. We will have 5 open positions available with varying terms of 1-2 years. ARC Submissions: All ARC submissions need to go through Lakewood for the time being. The Lakewood contact is Tom Schindler - [email protected]
Mailboxes: the mailboxes are in production and will be installed as soon as they are delivered. This is expected within the next 1-2 weeks, and we will send out information on which slot you are and how to get your keys after those are installed. Thank you!
