Hello fall, Oʻahu style! 🍁🌻🍂 We’re welcoming the season with memories from last year’s visit to Hawaii Sunflower Farm | Waimanalo Country Farms —pumpkins with a mountain backdrop, sunflower fields, and a few farm animals along the way.

If you’re planning a fall vacation on Oʻahu, here’s a little inspiration beyond the beach. Imagine spending an afternoon with your favorite people, exploring the farm and taking in these views. 🤍

Waimānalo Country Farms is scheduled to open for its fall season this Saturday, September 26! Check directly with the farm for current hours, admission details, and seasonal availability before visiting.

Save this for your Oʻahu trip planning, and share it with someone you’d love to spend a fall afternoon with. 🌴

Poke and sashimi on your Oʻahu food list? 🐟 This week’s Taste of Oʻahu Tuesday features Maguro Brothers, with locations in Honolulu’s Chinatown and Waikīkī.

Their story began in Chinatown in 2014, before expanding to Waikīkī in 2016. Whether you’re exploring downtown Honolulu or staying in Waikīkī, you have two locations to work into your food plans.

📍 Chinatown: 1120 Maunakea Street
📍 Waikīkī: 2250 Kalākaua Avenue, by Royal Hawaiian Avenue

Plan a daytime visit for Chinatown or an evening stop in Waikīkī. Check Maguro Brothers Hawaii 🐟 for current hours before heading over.

Save this for your next Oʻahu trip and share it with your seafood-loving travel crew. 🤙🏽

Not sponsored. Just sharing places we genuinely enjoy.

Happy National Macadamia Nut Day!

If macadamia nuts are on your Hawaiʻi must-try list, here are two Oʻahu stops worth adding to your day.

🌴 Tropical Farms on the Windward side is a fun stop for macadamia nut samples, coffee, local treats and even the chance to crack your own mac nut.

🌰 Head toward Haleʻiwa and you’ll find North Shore Mac Nut, a family-run stop connected to Kamananui Orchard, where macadamia nuts are actually grown right here on Oʻahu.

Two different sides of the island, two different experiences and plenty of mac nuts to bring home… assuming they make it that far. 😂

Which one would you stop at — Tropical Farms, North Shore Macadamia Nut Company, or both?

Save this post for later when you’re planning your Oʻahu itinerary. 🌺

And if you’re planning a private Oʻahu day with family, friends or your group, we can always work stops like these into your itinerary.

Your day, your pace, your adventure. 🌺

Happy National Mai Tai Day! 🍹🌺

If a Mai Tai is part of your Oʻahu vacation plans, here’s a little history to go with today’s cheers.

The Mai Tai actually got its start in Oakland, California, where Trader Vic is credited with creating the original cocktail in 1944.

Its Hawaiʻi connection came a few years later. In 1953, Trader Vic brought the Mai Tai to the islands, where it was served at some of Waikīkī’s iconic hotels. Somewhere along the way, it became one of those drinks people instantly associate with a Hawaiʻi vacation. 🌴

So whether you’re heading out for sunset drinks in Waikīkī, dinner in Honolulu or a night out somewhere else on Oʻahu, make the ride part of the plan too.

ʻĀina Holo Tours offers private transportation for groups around Oʻahu, with pickup and drop-off coordinated around your plans so everyone can enjoy the evening without worrying about who’s driving back.

🍹 Enjoy responsibly.
🚐 We’ll handle the ride.

Happy Mai Tai Day from ʻĀina Holo Tours!

Some days on Oʻahu, you just stop and enjoy the rainbows. 🌈

Hawaiʻi is known for its beautiful rainbows, and somehow they never get old — whether they’re stretching over the mountains, appearing after a passing shower or showing up over Honolulu when you least expect them.

A little extra color felt appropriate this week. 🤍

You planned for the beaches, Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor and a North Shore day… but left a little room in your Oʻahu itinerary. 🌺

And this is what your weekend on Oʻahu could look like.

You spend part of the day walking through the Made in Hawaiʻi Festival, meeting local makers, trying Hawaiʻi-made food and finding something special to bring home.

Then you come across the Best of Hawaiʻi Mākeke and discover even more local businesses, brands and food worth checking out.

Next, you’re near the ocean watching Duke’s OceanFest — celebrating surf, ocean culture and the legacy of Duke Kahanamoku.

And before the weekend is over, you find yourself sitting at Kapiʻolani Park listening to the Royal Hawaiian Band play.

Local businesses.
Ocean culture.
Music.
Community.

All in one weekend.

Mahalo to the organizations, local businesses, musicians and communities that keep giving us so many ways to experience Oʻahu. 🌺

Hawaii's Finest Clothing

Royal Hawaiian Band

That’s one of the things we love most about Oʻahu. There’s always more happening beyond the beaches and the places already saved on your Hawaiʻi vacation itinerary.

And sometimes, knowing what’s happening while you’re here is what turns a good day into one you’ll remember.

So when you’re planning your Oʻahu trip, leave a little room for the unexpected. 🌺

And if you’d like a little help figuring out what’s happening while you’re here, send us a message. We’d love to help you build a private Oʻahu day around the things you want to see, experience and discover.

Your day, your pace, your adventure. 🤙🏽
