Happy birthday to the National Parks Service!

I mentioned in an earlier post that of all the parks I have visited (so far) Saguaro NP was the most surprising to me.

As a mountain girl, I never imagined that a cactus 🌵 could grow so tall. It was a truly amazing experience to see these giants IRL.

Continued celebration of National Parks week!

The Petrified Forest National Park and the Painted Desert in Arizona is surprisingly beautiful and full of life.

My bucket list primarily consists of visiting all 50 states and all 63 National Parks.

In honor of National Parks week here are a few pictures of our stop at Gettysburg a couple of weeks ago. Not our first visit there but the first time that there were reenactments going on while we were there. That was a great experience.

I think Gettysburg is by far my husband's favorite NP.
One of my favorites, which really surprised me, is Saguaro NP.

More Canadian food and fun.

When you stay in Chinatown, you eat hand-pulled noodles. Twice.

Oh my gosh, they were sooo good. I would drive back to Montreal just for the Nouille soupe aux escalopes de poulet (chicken cutlet noodle soup)
