- OUT OF THE OFFICE -

I successfully completed all the final items on my “travel advisor to-do list” this morning, and I’m closing down shop! 2021 has been exciting and a time of growth.

Between the holidays, clients’ recent & upcoming travels, and baby girl’s arrival (in 5 days or less) things have been a bit hectic. But hey! We made it.

I won’t be posting much while on maternity leave but am sure I’ll be spreading some updates in my stories. Follow along there and reach out if you need me! ✈️ 💙

I’m actually sending out three different Disney World proposals to a few clients today, and I am THRILLED! Disney is always magical, but I get even more excited about the magic when planning Disney vacations around the holiday season. It’s extra special! ✨

Today, I’ll be wrapping up…
(1) A couple planning a Spring honeymoon to Disney 💍

(2) One family planning on going in early November for their pre-Thanksgiving festivities in 2022 🍁

(3) Another family gifting Disney to the kiddos for a December vacation around Christmas 2022 🎅🏼

Ahhhhh!!! So much to love here. 🤍🤍🤍

And no, it’s not too soon to plan Disney 2022. It’s the perfect time! In fact, we can even begin booking your Disney travels into April of 2023. Just in time to wrap up the 50th Anniversary Celebration at Walt Disney World!

(3) TRAVEL opening back up for us all ✈️
(4) A healthy baby girl on the way 🎀
(5) My supportive, caring, and go-getter of a man 💙💙
(6) True friends to move through the ever-changing seasons of life with 👩🏻‍🤝‍👩🏽
(7) Freedom to worship and praise Jesus ✝️
(8) Each of YOU for helping to make my travel business dreams come true ✨
(9) A healthy and breathing body 💪🏼
(10) Laughter, tears, and everything in between - showing I care and can feel things deeply 🥰

I could probably list another million things I’m thankful for… Gratitude is HUGE to me and a big reason why I love the Thanksgiving season so much. I love that it’s a simple holiday that hasn’t been ruined by gift-giving and expectations.

Thanksgiving reminds me to slow down, enjoy both the big & little blessings, and soak in each moment.

T R A D I T I O N S ——

I love that the holidays bring around so many traditions. One of my favorites is traveling to our family’s deer camp in west Texas each year for Thanksgiving. 🍁🦃🍂

This November, we won’t be traveling west because of baby’s upcoming arrival - our doctor advised us not to be “in the middle of nowhere” with no cell signal and five hours away from our intended hospital, just in case. Sad, but important. ❤️

However, this means we get to start making some new holiday traditions this year. I am THRILLED about that! Currently, I’m planning a grocery list for the upcoming week that includes alllllllll the soups and yummy comfort food. We may not be traveling far, but the food should make up for it!

The holiday season is upon us!
And you know what that means….

Stress! 😬😳

I’ll be honest: I despise that the world has made a season meant for gratitude and thanksgiving, “the most wonderful time of the year” and joy one of chaotic coordination and obligation. It’s really quite sad.

As the season approaches, remember that it’s not selfish to vacation. You spend so much time, energy, and effort giving and doing for everyone else, you deserve time away to reset and recharge.

Whether that’s a relaxed couple’s getaway after the holidays pass or a fun-filled vacation for the whole family as their gifts this year, take some time for you and those you love most.

No chaos.
No crazy coordination.
