Waiting in line with kids can turn theme park magic into a total meltdown in about 30 seconds flat. The good news? A little prep goes a long way.

We've tried a lot of line tricks over the years, and these are the ones that actually work — easy enough to stash in a sling bag, and they rotate between parks so they always feel new to your kids.

Our go-tos: the interactive queue game built right into the Disney Parks App, snacks (always snacks), small fidget toys, Color Wonder travel sets, and counting games — Mickey ears, bubble wands, anything you can spot around you.

And here's the thing nobody tells you: lines are actually a great excuse to connect. That uninterrupted time is perfect for talking about favorite memories from the trip so far or what everyone's most excited to ride next. Any conversation is a win when you're all stuck together anyway.

Swipe through for the full list of tricks that have saved our sanity in line.

Save this before your next trip and share it with a parent who needs it. Ready to plan a trip where the lines don't wreck your day? DM us to start.

I didn't realize how much I needed a little Disney magic all to myself. ✨

This trip was for work — training, touring, learning the ins and outs of Disneyland Resort so I can do my job even better. But it also meant a few days where I didn't have to think about school pickups, dinner plans, or anyone but myself. I could eat where I wanted, when I wanted, in peace — no negotiating, no rushing.

And Disneyland gave me moments I didn't expect to love as much as I did.
Disney California Adventure quickly became my favorite park. Avengers Campus was pure joy, and the Incredicoaster absolutely lived up to the hype. Between that and Pixar Pier, it felt like a completely different world from Walt Disney World — and getting to discover that for myself, at my own pace, made it even better.

But my favorite memory happened after dark, getting to watch World of Color from the reserved section.

I've seen nighttime spectaculars at both coasts, and this one is my favorite, hands down. Watching the water, music, lights, and stories come together, I just sat there thinking, I'm really here. ✨

This trip was also an incredible learning experience. Through the Agent Education Program, I toured Disneyland Resort hotels, explored Good Neighbor Hotels, and trained with the Walt Disney Travel Company. I came home understanding, on a much deeper level, what makes a Disneyland vacation special — and even more excited to help my clients experience it for themselves.

But more than anything, I came home with a little more magic in me than I left with.
And I really hope you get to feel that too.

Because before there was ever a Walt Disney World, there was Disneyland. Walt's original park still has its own personality, its own energy, its own kind of magic — the kind that's worth discovering for yourself. ❤️✨

This or That: Epcot Festival Edition 🌸🍷

Flower & Garden or Food & Wine — for a lot of our clients, this isn't a light debate.

We're staying neutral on which festival wins... but we're not staying quiet on the details.

Flower & Garden: the violet lemonade is 100% worth the hype, and Brunch-cot and the France booth are consistent hits year after year.

Food & Wine: we'll say it — it hasn't been the same since they cut the extra events. Justice for pre-COVID Food & Wine. 😤

And across every festival, at every booth line-up? The Italy booth is a skip. Menus change year to year, but that one's been consistent too.

Drop 🌸 for Flower & Garden or 🍷 for Food & Wine — and if you disagree with us on the Italy booth, we want to hear it.

Did I pick the wrong week? Is this resort too far from the parks? What if I mess up the dining reservations? What if something goes wrong and I don't know what to do?

If your brain won't stop running worst-case scenarios about a vacation that's supposed to be fun, you're not being dramatic. That's the actual weight of the planning.

And here's the thing—the details really do matter. The wrong hotel can spike anxiety on day one if it's too chaotic or too far from an easy escape when you need a reset. Decision paralysis at 5:59am when dining and Lightning Lane windows open is a real thing. One wrong click and the day you wanted is gone.

This is exactly where we come in.

We match your hotel to how your family actually handles a big trip—a judgment call no search filter can make. We discuss your choices and backups in advance so you're not frozen when the window opens. You wake up to a text that says it's done.

And those 2am spirals? They get a lot quieter when someone else is already holding the details.

Even when things go sideways—transportation goes down, a ride closes, you're overwhelmed and need a quiet spot—you text us and we provide solutions. The day is saved.

Swipe to see how we take the spiral out of planning.

The Disney Fantasy is the fourth ship in Disney Cruise Line's fleet and a client favorite for a reason.

Launched in 2012, she's the sister ship to the Dream — but Art Nouveau instead of Art Deco. The adults district is Venice-inspired with another fantastic champagne bar. These ships are pre-Disney Imagineering bars, so they're less immersive than the newer fleet but just as fun.

A few things that surprise first-timers:

↳ It's not outdated. Disney keeps their ships in impeccable shape, and honestly the layout of these ships just makes more sense. The secluded adults district. The outdoor promenade on Deck 4 that wraps around the entire ship. The farewell shows on the older ships are so much better. That's niche, but it matters.

↳ Remy is on the Fantasy — elevated French dining that's worth the splurge.

↳ The Couples Spa Haven is a favorite for anyone looking for true relaxation.

↳ 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral. Castaway Cay. Cozumel. Grand Cayman. Tortola. St. Thomas. This ship delivers variety.

↳ Pixar Day at Sea returns on select sailings. Halloween on the High Seas and Very MerryTime holiday sailings too.

From the experienced staff to the size and layout, this ship is many clients' perfect fit — and after sailing her in January, I get it. The Fantasy feels like home.

Send this to someone ready to set sail 👇

Some people love walking out of their room to see a giant Woody or a 35-foot Buzz Lightyear. And some people... don't.

If you want to stay on property at Walt Disney World but prefer a resort that feels more like a traditional hotel — subtle theming, elevated dining, grown-up vibes — you have options.

Grand Destino Tower at Coronado Springs is a moderate resort with a deluxe feel. Michelin-recommended rooftop dining at Toledo, walk-in showers, Club Level access, and the only full fitness center at a moderate. The Riviera Resort brings European elegance with subtle Disney touches, Skyliner transportation, an adults-only pool, and Topolino's Terrace for character breakfast or fireworks-view signature dining at night. And the Grand Floridian is the flagship — a refined, polished experience with a grand lobby, a Michelin-starred restaurant, full-service spa, and walking distance to Magic Kingdom.

You still get all the on-property perks. You just don't have to look at a 150-foot cowboy every time you leave your room.

Save this if traditional hotel vibes are more your style and share it with whoever's been hesitant about staying at a "Disney" resort. Ready to find your perfect fit? DM us to start planning.

Looking back now, it’s crazy to think that we almost didn’t go on a honeymoon. I had booked and canceled our trip on two separate occasions due to work schedules and funds. And then about a month before the wedding, we said, screw it and booked it.

The day after our wedding in May 2022, we slowly woke up and began the 16 Hour drive from Maryland to Walt Disney World. This was our first trip to the most magical place on earth just the two of us, and to this day, we still refer to it as the best and most perfect trip ever.

We stayed at our favorite place ever, Pop Century, and by the end the trip we were regretful that we never sat by the pool once, and we have learned our lesson since then. We spent every moment we could in the parks, plenty of sitdown meals, rides, character meet and greets, early mornings, and late nights.

Probably the most special part of the trip was us taking an hour in Galaxy’s Edge one evening to have a little photo shoot just the two of us, no actual photographer, with our legacy light sabers (Ahsoka Tano and Darth Maul). We followed this up with drinks at Oga’s Cantina and a light dinner at Docking Bay 7. A perfect evening for Star Wars fans.

What a magical way to start off the rest of our lives together, with a little faith, trust, and a whole lot of pixie dust!

"I would never go to Disney without her being my own genie." 🧞‍♀️✨

Savannah just got compared to a Disney genie, and honestly? We're not mad about it.

"The magic doesn't begin when you get to Disney. It begins when Savannah starts assisting you!"

Can we talk about THIS line for a second? Because it's so true. The magic isn't just the moment you walk through the gates - it's every phone call, every question answered with patience, every detail handled before you even knew to worry about it.

"My family says I planned our trip but really it was Savannah." 😂 The best kind of secret, right?

That's the thing about working with a real expert - it can feel so seamless that you almost forget how much work went on behind the scenes! Knowledgeable, patient, and going above and beyond "just booking a stay" - that's Savannah's whole approach.

And she's already talking next-trip planning before this family even fully unpacked! That's what happens when you find someone who genuinely cares. 💙

Three wishes? Savannah's granting way more than that for her clients!

Universal Orlando has three theme parks and a water park. Sounds simple enough—until you start booking tickets.

Are you doing park to park? Should you add Epic Universe? Is Volcano Bay worth it for your trip? And how many days do you actually need?

Here's where it gets tricky.

Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are right next to each other. Going park to park between them feels like experiencing one massive park—and the Hogwarts Express keeps you immersed the whole time. But here's the catch: you need a park to park ticket to ride it. Book a single park ticket and you'll miss one of the best experiences Universal has to offer.

And then there's Epic Universe. It's not anywhere near the other two parks. It's the most talked-about theme park right now and you have to see it to believe it—but that means planning around distance and transportation.

Volcano Bay? That's its own category entirely as a water theme park.

The ticket you buy affects everything. How many days you need. Which parks you can visit. How your park days flow. Get it wrong and you're either paying for access you don't use or missing out on something you wanted.

This is exactly what we help with. We give you recommendations on how many days to buy, park plans based on your ticket type, and itineraries that factor in park distances.

Swipe to see what goes into planning a Universal trip.

Universal has more options than ever—and more ways to get it wrong. Schedule a consultation and let's build the right plan for your family. Link in bio.
