If you apply or renew now, you will experience significant delays of several months to receive your U.S. passport and the return of your citizenship evidence documents (such as birth certificates or naturalization certificates). We know I love to travel.

Right now, travel is the furthest thing from my mind. It’s a privilege.

I’m more concerned for our elderly, for those who were barely getting by before this crisis began.
I’m concerned for those whose immune systems are compromised, those with anxiety. There’s a mighty long list for those in need.

So that’s where my focus is: helping where I can.

There’s no doubt travel will be booming once the world gives the all clear. I’m more than willing and always available to talk travel if that’s what you want to do.

Right now though, I encourage us all to focus on our family, our neighbor, and strangers who may need a hand.
