We just got home from a quick two-day trip to a place that somehow makes the noise of reality feel so small. ✨

Life has been lifing lately.

I’m in the growing pains of trying to find the right balance between teaching, being the best mom and wife, girls who keep us busy with sports most nights of the week, and making sure I’m still showing up for all of my clients.

To say I’ve felt a little stretched thin lately would be an understatement.

But even in the midst of that, I’m so incredibly thankful for this season of life. So much of what fills our days right now is everything I once hoped and prayed for. I’m just learning that it’s okay to slow down for a moment and simply enjoy it. 🤍

And that’s exactly what this trip was.

No content to create. No feeling like I needed to document every moment. No answering emails. Just me and my husband enjoying a chill couple of days in the parks.

We slowed down—which sounds wild to say about a Disney trip, right? 😂 But it’s SO possible to have a slow, not ride-heavy trip and still experience every bit of the magic.

We wandered. We ate. We enjoyed the atmosphere and time together. And for a couple of days, everything else got a little quieter.

As always, thank you to everyone who trusts me to be a part of your trips. I never take that lightly. 🤍

And remember, not every Disney trip has to look the same. Sometimes you rope drop and try to do it all… and sometimes you just need to slow down and let the magic find you.

This time, we needed the slow kind. And it was pretty magical. ✨

✨🏰 55 YEARS OF MAGIC 🏰✨

On October 1, 1971, Walt Disney World opened its gates for the very first time. Today, we celebrate 55 years of magic. ✨

55 years of walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and getting that first glimpse of Cinderella Castle. Of hugs from favorite characters, Mickey-shaped treats, fireworks lighting up the sky, and hearing those familiar sounds that somehow make you feel like a kid again.

For so many of us, Disney has been part of different seasons of our lives. We grew up watching the movies, dreaming about the parks, and making memories there ourselves. Then one day, we get to watch the magic all over again through the eyes of the people we love most. 🤍

The parks have changed a lot in 55 years, but that feeling of walking through the gates and knowing you’re somewhere special never really goes away.

Here’s to 55 years of first visits, family traditions, happy tears, “one more ride,” and memories that last long after the vacation is over. 🏰✨

Happy 55th Anniversary, Walt Disney World. Thanks for always giving us a little place to feel like a kid again. 🤍✨
