Yesterday found us on the Northern side of Oahu. We left Waikiki Beach area and drove to Kualoa Ranch a 4000 acre nature preserve purchased in 1850 by a family who promised the Hawaiian King they would preserve the rich historical significance of the land. While at Kualoa Ranch we drove UTVs and went up and down the area and took in spectacular views of the mountains and ocean! We got to see some very famous movie sets as well. Kualoa Ranch is known as the backlot of Hawaii. We learned a lot about how this part of the island is connected to the Moana Story. Very beautiful views all around.
The flora and fauna alone were just spectacular!!
Overall my group agreed this was a worthwhile experience.
