Greenan Photo went to Turkey to take photos there. First we spent some time in Efes (Ephesus). It is a great antic side with a lot of history and incredible friendly people. Then we spent time in Istanbul. The photos will be posted shortly on greenanphoto.com

One of our last stops was Deception Island. It is a volcano crater which still shows activities. The ship sailed into the crater through a small entrance and we entered an unique landscape. After this we headed into the Drake Passage. A trip to the Antarctic is not complete without having gone through the Drake Passage, known as the roughest sea. Three oceans converge there and it is definitely an experience. Having witness the heavy sea it makes you realize what accomplishments were achieved by explorers like Shackleton.
