Woah, I’m 28 today! 🎉
Weird to be temporarily living at my parents house 😂 but very excited for all of the good things to come this year.

Tested out all the best work spots in Costa Rica. 👩🏼‍💻 Contrary to what I show on Instagram, the majority of my days are spent working. I am SO very lucky to be able to work from anywhere and structure it so that I can confidently step away for an excursion here and there.

I work through 90% of my trips but try to fully enjoy the time I do take off. Because I work in social media, completely stepping away 1-2x a year is SO necessary for my mental well-being, stress levels, and performance!

Hell, that time is important no matter what industry you work in. We all need time to reset! How many days off do you get a year? Are you actually taking them? Are you making good use of them!? Let this be your reminder to fully enjoy your time off when you have it! If you’re due for a real vacation that feeds the soul — let’s chat!! 😉

Nic and I move to Houston next week and have a lot of packing to do, so the timing of this trip was a bit hectic and I was pretty stressed before getting here. Not to mention I was traveling with a friend [hi, ] that I’ve only known for a short time and haven’t spent THAT much 1-1 time with...

But this trip reminded me of 2 things:
1. There will always be something going on in my life / a reason not to go. But even so, it has always been worth it. Plus, after some adrenaline-inducing adventures, I actually feel more welcome to change!

2. Traveling with a new friend puts you on a closeness fast track. First you talk about everything under the sun and then you find yourself at the “comfortable in silence” stage. 👯‍♀️

TLDR; we’re never too busy for fun and making friends on the road is easy! 👌🏼

Officially bringing this account back to life with the sole purpose to share what I've been working on over the last few months!

I had the idea to start creating free travel guides based on my previous trips because I wanted to take the fear of the unknown out of the equation. I wanted to do the research and help you feel confident when booking that plane ticket.

I don't make money hand over fist.
I don't travel to luxury resorts.
But I'm also not slumming it.
I travel modestly and affordably.

My style isn't go-go-go, but I'm also not the "find a spot on the beach and park it" type either. What I mean to say is... YOU CAN DO THIS TOO.

I've realized my passion lies in helping and inspiring others to experience the absolute privilege and eye-opening experience that travel offers. I figured the least I could do was go beyond sharing edited photos on Instagram and REALLY CONTRIBUTE — even if it's just in the form of a downloadable pdf.
