Well this is fun. I had been given this cute little pin from the National Geographic Company when I met with them about their fabulous expedition cruises they offer. That iconic yellow frame is their symbol. I realized last night after growing up wanting to be part of the Jacque Cousteau crew, out exploring the oceans from watching his amazing TV shows, I'm going to be doing just that! Later this summer Todd & I will be on one of their ships exploring the arctic (Iceland and Greenland)
Of course we have been a little frantic gathering cold weather clothes for the journey, here in hot humid Houston. At least the nice lady at Academy last night didn't laugh at us too much!
Bring on the ice, puffins and maybe even a polar bear ! Oh my!
