One of the most meaningful parts of our trip began with what we call home visits. We had the privilege of sitting with families in their homes, listening to their stories, their challenges, their hopes, and their dreams. We also shared our own—what motivates us, what we aspire to, and why we are here.
These conversations are so important because they do more than exchange words—they build bridges. They help us understand the heart of the community and connect in ways that go deeper than culture or background.
One moment stood out in a powerful way. As we visited this specific family, we asked the father what his hopes and dreams were for his daughter’s future. His response was simple, yet profound:
“Whatever she wants to be, she will be. Her future is whatever she wants it to be.”
What an incredible reminder—not just for this community, but for all of us. As parents, as mentors, as friends—we all have the opportunity to encourage our children to dream big, to believe in their potential, and to step boldly into the future they choose.
💫 May we all carry that same hope forward—for our children, and for ourselves.
