Before heading to our 1st stop at the beautiful JPMorgan Chase Building on our tour, you'll notice two buildings on the left at our first street intersection. The building next to the MetroRail in the photo is a 48-story modern office building that was completed in 2017.

The St. Germain Lofts building in the back of the photo has a bit of an interesting history. That building was constructed in 1913, and it was originally the S.H. Kress five and dime store, which is essentially today's equivalent of the dollar store!

Cities around the world have their own love lock bridges, and Houston has its own love lock bridge as well! Located on 500 Allen Parkway near Eleanor Tinsley Park, more couples are hanging their locks on the fence of this bridge as a sign of their love ❤️

The Esperson rotunda adds an air of romance to Downtown Houston at night. In fact, A Bollywood movie, "Sirf Tirm" which means Only You, filmed one of their musical numbers at the Esperson rotunda!

Pictured here are the stunning columns of the 1910 Harris County Courthouse. This courthouse has been the site for a number of Houston weddings over the years. Weddings held here are much cheaper than your traditional weddings, and the architecture of this courthouse is absolutely beautiful!

We must face the uncomfortable fact that the injustice in our communities can often go unnoticed by many, especially when we do not take a moment to pause and to listen to individuals who are affected by unjust persecution. To grow this necessary global dialogue, we are pausing our social media activities in order to amplify the voices of those who are typically unheard. By listening and learning, we become informed individuals that strive to do better and to be better as a result.

The second most visited zoo in America is back in business this Wednesday! After the Houston Zoo announced that they were reopening, they received about 10,000 ticket requests a minute. We're happy to see the excitement surrounding the Houston Zoo's return, and we can't wait to see all the cool tigers and animals soon 😁

National Burger Day may be yesterday, but let's make it a National Burger Weekend to honor Bernie's Burger Bus's last weekend of operations. If you are planning to get some takeout or delivery, please consider supporting your local burger joints and your local restaurants. They are part of the reason why Houston is so special.
