My friend, IWillGoTravel, asked me last week how selling both travel and real estate is going, and my answer was I’m sleeping a little less but loving it all the more. Here’s a peek at how this year is starting:

✈️ after 3 years with SmartFlyer as a 2021 was my best year to date. 2022’s numbers have already surpassed 2021 which means people are going {to some pretty FAB} places and I’m grateful to get them there ->

thankfully, my new client does! I received an email a few Monday’s ago requesting my help for a trip in just a few weeks. he found my info in Sunday’s Houston Chronicle in an article about One&Only Mandarina by esteemed travel editor (and my snack soulmate) Jody Schmal.

within a few hours, he was booked for a three night stay at one of the most sought after properties, Blackberry Farm, which is typically booked out months in advance.

the stars aligned for this connection starting with the POWER🗞of🗞PRINT. we put a lot of our efforts into social and other forms of outreach, but the greatest ROI, IMO, will always come from trusted sources and relationships.

📍Venice 2014 | while taking these the last few weeks day by day, I keep repeating my belief that all things work together for good (and yes, most of us live in Texas and yes, oil prices dropped to an all time low yesterday, and yes, this optimism could be met with a ‘sweetly‘ southern ‘Bless her heart’, but don’t shoot the messenger - the Apostle Paul first said this in Romans 8:28, but I digress)....

On this Earth Day, I‘m thankful for our planet having time to heal, especially our beloved Venice where the canals are clear and jellyfish are swimming about; a sight Venetian haven’t seen in this lifetime.
