Multigenerational travel offers families the rare opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and create lasting memories together. Recently David Marek, president of Ker & Downey World Travel, took his children and grandchildren to Botswana for their first safari:

“We just returned from a multi-generational trip to Botswana with 4 grandkids ranging from 8-12 years old. Although I worried a bit, each one handled it beautifully. What made the trip special for the kids was how the camp staff really got to know them. From soccer games after lunch, to interacting with bushmen to start fires and set snares...all of it kept their attention. The girls enjoyed the special “journal” provided to help take notes and remember their trip. I would not hesitate to take them back.”
