Went on a 2 week camping trip and a billion dollar corporation was trying to steal my small business when we got back (actual story is much crazier than it sounds). Anyhow we are back, stronger than ever, and still having fun on the coast. Hit me up for an adventure.
Trip included 4 national parks, public and private lands, and about 2500 miles.
This summer is going to get wild, I’ve got a lot of cool partners helping me build some cool stuff.

We really lucked out getting as our guide at . For a 3 hour fishing trip while our kids slept in, the amount of fun we had was unimaginable. Hear all about it on our podcast.
This was the day before Thanksgiving, and made me very thankful for two things: 8wt fly rods, and that I don’t have to tie those tiny leaders and flies.

has really been getting their camper shell and tent dialed and it’s been fun working with them.
loaned the vertical bike rack and this trip wouldn’t not have been the same without the bikes. (Also spy Hannah’s new P3)
1,000 miles, 8 days, 4 states, countless memories, and some much needed time to disconnect.

Had a lot of fun catching up with an old highschool buddy of mine,
I really forgot how much I enjoyed fishing with him and it was refreshing to see the old habits we built together learning the bays. Some of those habits: get there first (4:00am in the surf), don’t skip an inch of ground, and when something good happens mark it so you can figure out why for the next time. All stuff we should probably talk about on the podcast.
If you want to fish g bay proper definitely hit up he is specializing in navigation trips and live bait drifts.

First: Pure excitement after locating the first abandoned crab trap ➡️Last: realizing I’m going to be doing this all day is 50 degree water and shorts…

I absolutely love when closes the crab season and allows for removal of abandoned crab traps. If you haven’t done this before, you should. Almost all of the traps I find have live crabs in them just waiting to die and setting them free is a blast.
