I do not think I have ever seen the love bugs as bad as they are this year. I am bitterly having to blow them off the back porch every day because Carolyn can not stand to see the dead ones pilling up. Plus she is having to run the vacuum daily where they are getting into the house even though we try to knock them off the doors before opening. I made the mistake of setting my yeti on the patio table this morning with out a rag over the top and when I took a drink I got a little protein with the liquid.

Carolyn and I are fortunate to have traveled the US and Overseas extensively. You can not realize how fortunate we have it in Tomball until you are gone 3 months and return, eating at your favorite restaurant and realizing that is the best meal we have had in 3 months. For such a little hole in the wall we are blessed to have it near us. I can say I have never been disappointed with a meal here. They serve fresh hearty family-friendly comfort food.

One of the best reasons to still own a stick and brick. After 3 months on the road where you never get adequate water pressure and have to hurry up in the shower so you do not fill grey tank is that first time you step into your residential shower where is water running full blast, pressure so good it almost knocks you off your feet and temp so high you come out looking like a lobster after a 20 minutes of nirvana. You all can thank me now for not showing that picture.

After 3 months on the road we have made it home at least the temperature is cooperating at least for the moment.
