The Golden Temple- Amritsar, Punjab
100,000 people get fed daily called the Langar. Your trip is not complete unless you have Langar at the temple.
The guards with spears stand to protect due to the attack that happened right outside the temple and many men, women and children lost their lives.

People from all walks of life travel to the temple from all over the globe to pray, get blessings, volunteer to clean and serve at the temple.

COVID-19 has put a damper on travel plans.

Everyone GET CREATIVE and take advantage of this time to get to know your family better whether under the same roof or over FaceTime/Skye.

- Play games you used to as a child
- Garden / Plant new life and watch it grow (it is good for the soul as well as your health)
- Play old music and sing along
- Find out how your parents / grandparents met; what attracted them to each other--- don't forget to record it!
- Build things together
- Pull out the dusty sewing machine or the needle and thread & Sew (medical staff need cotton face masks)
- Play with children...legos, finger paint, build a fort with sheets and whatever (again - record it! They grow up fast!)
- Watch funny or romantic movies together
- DANCE
- Handwrite notes / letters to your children
