Houston Rodeo 2026 lineup is 🔥… you in?

If you needed an excuse to plan a Houston trip in 2026, this is it. The RodeoHouston lineup is absolutely 🔥 and March in Houston is basically one big “let’s go have fun” button.

Here’s what you’re getting in one trip:
• Big-name concerts night after night (seriously… Riley Green, J Balvin, Kelly Clarkson, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Parker McCollum, Cody Johnson, and more)

📍 Westbury, Houston TX | 3 to 5 bedrooms

Here’s the latest game-day occupancy pacing:
• June 14: 8.9% (was 8.7%) ⬆️ +0.2%
• June 17: 8.8% (was 8.6%) ⬆️ +0.2%
• June 20: 8.6% (was 8.0%) ⬆️ +0.6%
• June 23: 5.2% (was 4.9%) ⬆️ +0.3%
• June 26: 2.6% (was 1.9%) ⬆️ +0.7%
• June 29: 3.3% (was 2.6%) ⬆️ +0.7%
• July 4: 4.5% (was 4.1%) ⬆️ +0.4%

📌 What I’m seeing:
Dates surrounding game days are booking too, just not as dramatically. That usually means a chunk of travelers are coming in for the match night specifically.

💰 If your pricing isn’t adjusted, you’re going to miss out.
Best approach I’ve seen work for major events:
• 📈 Price highest on game days, then taper down between
• 🛏️ Consider 1-night stays on game days (they’ll pay a premium anyway)
• 🔒 Then require longer stays in-between to avoid gaps and raise overall revenue

❓ What are you doing right now to prep for FIFA?

📈 Update from my post a few days ago (Westbury | 3 to 5 bedrooms | Game-day occupancy pacing) ⚽️🏟️

Here’s how market occupancy is tracking right now, compared to the other day:
• June 14: 8.7% (was 7.1%) ⬆️ +1.6%
• June 17: 8.6% (was 6.3%) ⬆️ +2.3%
• June 20: 8.0% (was 6.3%) ⬆️ +1.7%
• June 23: 4.9% (was 3.7%) ⬆️ +1.2%
• June 26: 1.9% (was 1.8%) ⬆️ +0.1%
• June 29: 2.6% (was 1.8%) ⬆️ +0.8%
• July 4: 4.1% (was 3.7%) ⬆️ +0.4%

✅ What this tells me: demand is starting to show up, but this is still very early pacing. If you’re priced like a normal June week, you could get booked fast and still be underpaid. If you’re priced like it’s already sold out, you might miss early pickup.

🎯 The play is smart pacing: build a FIFA strategy around pickup, comps, minimum stays, and shoulder nights.

✅ Quick gut check:
• ⚽️ Are your match-weekend rates meaningfully higher than peak summer weekends?
• 🗓️ Did you build in shoulder nights (1 to 2 nights before and after match days)?
• 📊 Are you pacing based on pickup + demand, not just “what the neighbor charges”?
• ⏳ Are your minimum stays helping you capture high-demand blocks without creating dead gaps?
