7 years ago I was told I should put off living my life/traveling the world, etc., until my children got older.
I was shamed for leaving them with a nanny a weekend each quarter to attend edutainment events, and every year or 2 for 7-10 days at a time, while I took advantage of international experiences, that were awarded to me for my efforts in sharing the gift of travel with others.
I reflect on the past year, and even more-so on the last few months of life events. I can only express how grateful I feel that I never allowed other people’s opinions to affect my decisions in how I live my life or raise my children.
I have zero regrets of taking those trips, attending those trainings, and building my team, to create the travel lifestyle for MY family, that EVERYONE deserves.
HOWEVER, as I ponder my current situation, I think about how much I may have regretted it had I listened to those naysayers & dream stealers.
You never know what cards life is gonna deal you. Play your hand without regret, knowing that the future makes no promise of what’s in store tomorrow, for anyone.
